Old age has become synonymous to senility even though there are some people who are as sharp as a knife until their last breath. But aside from senility, there are certain mental diseases that ravage those who are aged. Some examples are Huntington’s Disease and Alzheimer’s Disease.
Both conditions affect those who are old. They are characterized by loss of mental faculties and eventual death. There is no cure for both conditions. Medicines and therapy aimed to deal with both conditions are not cures. They are disease management procedure.
